Mary Jane Eaton Jackson resident of Judsonia, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the age of 88. She was born in Cash, Arkansas on April 24, 1929 the daughter of the late Delbert Turner and Lenar Mae Williams Eaton.
Mrs. Jackson was married to Mr. Jacob Jackson who preceded her in death on April 8, 2015. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved cooking for her family while working in the fields picking cotton. Mrs. Jackson enjoyed solving puzzle books, reading about westerns and traveling to Las Vegas. She also liked watching television programs, Mountain Men, The Alaskan Frontier and Swamp People.
Mrs. Jackson is preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Lenar Eaton, her husband, Jacob Jackson, two daughters, Wanda Emery, Joyce Jackson, three sisters, Elaine, Marie and Tiny.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by one son, Richard Jackson of Judsonia, Arkansas, one daughter, Mary Gonzalez and husband Eliasar of Judsonia, Arkansas, one brother, Buddy Eaton and wife Donna of Lake of Ozarks, Missouri, three sisters, Olivia Baumgardner of Huntsville, Alabama, June Woods and husband Leon of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Nina Maddox of Taft, California, fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jimmy McElyea, Justin McElyea, David McElyea, Mark Walls, Rafael Bonilla and William Nutting. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Reddman and Scott Reddman.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 between the hours of 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Thompson-Wilson McCrory Funeral Home Chapel with 2:00 p.m. graveside services at Eight Mile Cemetery near Beedeville.
