Obituary for Blenda Brown (Turner)

Blenda Sue Turner Brown, resident of Judsonia, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from Unity Health-White County Medical Center of Searcy at the age of 71. She was born in Gregory, Arkansas on April 22, 1947 the daughter of the late Girdley and Laura Belle Burgess Turner.

Mrs. Brown was married to Bobby “Pedro” Brown who preceded her in death on October 17, 1991. She was a conversationalist in her own way, who loved interacting with people. Her enjoyment was gardening, watching westerns and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Mrs. Brown is survived by one son, James Taylor and wife Beatriz of Yuma, Arizona, one brother, Lester Turner and wife Joan of Carlisle, Arkansas, one sister, Dottie Stivers and husband Lonnie of Judsonia, Arkansas, two grandchildren, Jonathan and Rebecca Taylor, two great-grandchildren, Isis and Jonathan Davis Taylor.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be James Taylor, Kenny Simmons, Jimmy Hobbs and Bobby Joe Hobbs.

Visitation for Mrs. Brown will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 11th with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. at the Thompson-Wilson McCrory Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Fakes Cemetery.
