Obituary for Angie Kay Culver (Peterson)

Angie Kay  Culver (Peterson)
Ms. Angie Kay (Peterson) Culver, resident of Greers Ferry, formerly of Forrest City, departed this life on Friday, October 12, 2018, at her home at the age of 48. She was born in Rochelle, Illinois on Friday, August 28, 1970, the daughter of Mr. Joseph Peterson and Mrs. Hazel (Babb) Peterson, who preceded her in death.

Angie was a 1988 graduate of Forrest City High School, and was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed reading, swimming, and watching volleyball. She loved to write poetry, drink Mountain Dew, and have daily talks with Jesus.

She is survived by two sons, Wesley Rice and wife, Brianne, of Vicksburg, Mississippi; and Justin Culver of Wynne; a daughter, Heather Rice-Toombs of Jonesboro; three brothers, Jeffrey Lindsey, Jacob Peterson, and Eric Peterson; a sister, Cheryl Hunt; two grandchildren Alaina and Drew Toombs; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018, on the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home chapel in Wynne with Brother Gary Chapman officiating. Internment will follow in Lindsey Cemetery near Forrest City.

Friends may visit at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 17, 2018.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are John Culver, Grady Lindsey, Jeffrey Lindsey, and Tyler Lindsey.
