Loretta Ann  Ballmann (Schwarz)
Loretta Ann Ballmann of Wynne, Ark., passed away on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at the age of 83. She was born on Nov. 3, 1934, in Weiner to the late S.P. and Irene Lehr Schwarz.

She graduated as valedictorian from Holy Angels Academy in Jonesboro in 1952 and married her husband of 60 years, the late Herman Ballmann, on May 30, 1955. Loretta was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church.

Loretta was retired from CrossRidge Community Hospital and also worked at Wynne Medical Clinic. She was a member of St. Peter’s Alter Society, a former member of the Home Extension Club and a former girl scout leader. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy.

Loretta leaves behind sons, Joseph Ballmann and wife Kelley of Terrytown, La., Gregory Ballmann of Wynne, and Father Robert Ballmann of Covington, Tenn.; daughters, Diane Morgan of Horne Lake, Miss., Janice Morris and husband Bob of Wynne, and Leslie Gadberry of Wynne; brothers, S.P. Schwarz Jr. (Liz) of Weiner, James Schwarz (Sheila) of Shreveport, La., and; sisters, Faye Siebert of Jonesboro, Bea Schwarz of Weiner, Jamescina Dickson (Gary) of Brinkley, Paulette Fahr (Rick) of Weiner, Carolyn Schilly (Glenn) of Jonesboro, Martha Chatman (Jimmy) of Weiner, , and Barbara Doyle (Tim) of Jonesboro; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; sisters, Helen Nutt and Mary Siebert; and granddaughter, Courtney Gadberry.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Wynne with interment following in Cogbill Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 5-7 p.m at Thompson-Wilson Wynne Funeral Home. The rosary will begin at 7 p.m.
