Obituary for Davya Lucille Rayner (Boger)

Davya Lucille  Rayner (Boger)

Ms. Davya Lucille (Boger) Rayner, resident of Locust Grove, formerly of Wynne, departed this life on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock at the age of 74. She was born on Saturday, September 9, 1944 the daughter of Mr. David Henderson Boger, Jr. and Mrs. Elizabeth “Lucille” (Johnson) Boger.

Davya was a graduate of Wynne Sr. High School, where she was voted homecoming queen, and was a member of Wynne Baptist Church. She worked in insurance and as a legal aid, but devoted her life to caring for her sons.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Vince Allen Rayner.

Ms. Rayner is survived by two sons, David Anthony Rayner of Bella Vista, and Alex George Rayner of the home; two brothers, Michael David Boger and wife, Kim, of Barlett, Tennessee, and Richard Douglas Boger and wife, Lois, of Texarkana, Arkansas; a sister, Rebecca Weathers and husband, David, of Germantown, Tennessee; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018, in Cogbill Cemetery in Wynne with Mr. David Rayner officiating. No visitation is planned.
